Our Testimonials

“Ms. Tricia Austin has been wonderful with our 5 year old daughter. She is skilled in integrating play based learning with speech objectives. Our daughter looked forward to seeing her each week! She communicates with parents/families their child’s speech goals to help stay on track and optimize success. Our daughter has done so well that she no longer qualifies for school speech services. I recommend her services for any family looking for a speech therapist for their child. Ms. Austin is Awesome! We highly recommend.”

“Tricia is an amazing SLP! She worked with my 3-year-old son who had articulation difficulties. Tricia made therapy fun, and my son really loved working with her. She made such an impact on his development and really took the time to get to know him and help him. My son made significant progress in a few short months and was discharged from therapy by the time he was 4! He is now going to kindergarten in the Fall, and still remembers the times he “played” with Miss Tricia!”

“Patricia engaged remarkably well with our son, who was not yet 2 at the time. He loved seeing her and got excited when she arrived. She was patient and understanding with him, while still able to be firm and encourage him to use verbal communication. She was also a huge help to us as parents with tips and tricks, and things to work on at home with him to improve his speech between visits. She remembered what toys and shows he liked and used that to create common ground. She was also great at reading him and adjusting if he was disengaged or distracted. She would adapt to what he was playing with that day and incorporate it into the lesson. We absolutely loved having Patricia work with our son. She was professional, personable, kind and understanding, and very knowledgable in her field. We have had other therapists work with our son in the past, but she is by far our favorite and has had the biggest impact in his speech progression. Our son made huge strides working with her and we are blessed to have had her help. We highly recommend Patricia to any family who is looking for a top notch speech therapist for their child.”

“We took my 3 year old to be evaluated and Trish was wonderful to work with. She’s very caring and personable. My son is very leery of strangers but he warmed up easily to Trish. He enjoyed all the games they played to help him work on his sounds. We love working with Ms. Trish!”

“Tricia began working with my son Peter when he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 2.  Peter immediately had a connection with her and was always excited for his sessions with her.  Tricia always made us feel like she truly cared for him and his progress (because she really did!).  We were always welcomed with a big smile during morning drop-off, followed by a quick daily update on how he was doing.  Over the next 2 years, Peter progressed exponentially working with Tricia.  Today, Peter is doing fantastic – better than we could ever hoped.  He is entering a 2nd grade General Education classroom, with no speech services!  I attribute a lot of his success to Tricia and her amazing ability to work with children.  She is truly one-of-a kind! “

“Ms. Patricia has been one of the best therapists my son has had, my son’s speech improved a lot within the first two weeks she started seeing him!”

“My son Luca began receiving speech therapy with Tricia from 18 months to 4 years of age. Before his speech therapy sessions with Tricia, my son was non-verbal. Tricia formed a close and special bond with Luca. She allowed his speech to flourish and greatly improved his social skills as well. She worked tirelessly, patiently and with much love to improve my son’s huge speech delay. After each session, she would give me detailed feedback and suggestions for things we could do at home to continue with his therapy. She truly cares about her students and goes above and beyond to do everything she can to help them become successful. She truly is a dedicated therapist. We absolutely have Tricia to thank for Luca’s confidence in speaking, giving him a voice, and making him heard! If you are thinking about speech therapy sessions for a loved one, I can’t recommend Tricia enough! It was a huge blessing that my son worked with Tricia!”
