Jennifer Thrasher, M.S. CCC-SLP
Jen is a caring and experienced speech-language pathologist who has been helping people of all ages find their voices since earning her degree from Florida State University in 2015. (And yes, she’ll proudly cheer “Go Noles!” any chance she gets!)
She specializes in evaluation and treatment of individuals facing a wide range of communication and swallowing challenges, including receptive and expressive language delays, social communication differences, speech sound and fluency disorders, and dysphagia. Jen is also Orton-Gillingham trained, enabling her to provide specialized intervention for those with learning differences, such as our clients with Dyslexia.
Jen believes that meaningful progress happens through collaboration with families and caregivers. She values building strong partnerships and providing the guidance and support needed to foster communication growth beyond the therapy setting.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll usually find Jen chasing after her two young kids with her supportive husband, or spending time with their sweet dog, Odie.
Our Testimonials
Raina K
“Ms. Tricia Austin has been wonderful with our 5 year old daughter. She is skilled in integrating play based learning with speech objectives. Our daughter looked forward to seeing her each week! She communicates with parents/families their child’s speech goals to help stay on track and optimize success. Our daughter has done so well that she no longer qualifies for school speech services. I recommend her services for any family looking for a speech therapist for their child. Ms. Austin is Awesome! We highly recommend.”

“Tricia is an amazing SLP! She worked with my 3-year-old son who had articulation difficulties. Tricia made therapy fun, and my son really loved working with her. She made such an impact on his development and really took the time to get to know him and help him. My son made significant progress in a few short months and was discharged from therapy by the time he was 4! He is now going to kindergarten in the Fall, and still remembers the times he “played” with Miss Tricia!”
